With integrated handles this bucket-style terracotta pot is a practical design that works well for smaller spaces. You can refresh a small patio or garden by replacing the plants and shifting it to a new spot, or grow herbs that you can easily move closer to the barbecue.

These are hand thrown in Turkey from local clay and pre-drilled with a large drainage hole. Over time they will age to an attractive patina as the salts slowly leach to the surface. Each is fired to 1080°C to make it as frost resistant as possible but for extra protection we suggest raising it on pot feet and moving it to a sheltered spot in the colder months.

Please note: white specks in the terracotta are lime granules, which occur naturally in raw Turkish clay. Occasionally when pots are fired the clay around them can split out a little, but this won’t compromise the pot’s strength. Lime helps to bind the clay and ultimately makes for a stronger pot. As these are hand thrown, the measurements are approximate.
