The sword-like, elegant emerald green leaves of Dracaena marginata 'Bicolour' have margins tinted with red and yellow. As it matures, this plant becomes more tree-like in form, providing a strong visual accent for a room. Moreover, this adaptable houseplant is low-maintenance and can thrive in a wide range of locations.

Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

  • Home care:
Water well during the active growing season in spring and summer, keeping the compost evenly moist, but reduce watering in winter to avoid soggy roots. Mist the foliage occasionally to raise humidity, especially in centrally heated rooms. Position in bright, indirect light and keep temperatures ideally between 60-75°F (16-24°C), avoiding drops below 50°F (10°C) in winter. Feed every 2-3 weeks with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser during the growing months to support strong foliage.

Repot as required, refreshing the compost to maintain nutrients and vigour.
    • Pets: Harmful if eaten
