Emerging gracefully from submerged bulbous corms anchored by intricate fibrous roots, Alisma subcordatum showcases baby-breath branching panicles, adorned with delicate pink to white three-petalled flowers.
As a clump-forming seed coloniser, it thrives in the tranquility of permanently inundated waters, its verdant foliage evolving from ribbon-like underwater strands to dark green ovate leaves.

Ideal for boggy, sunny spots or pond margins where any flow of water is slack, plant between 5-15cm (2-6") below the surface. Deadhead regularly in order to prevent problems from self-seeding. Aquatics can appear a little flaccid after their travel to you but will regenerate once submerged in water.
