This extraordinary Peruvian Lily captivates with its deep, velvety purple funnel-shaped blooms, each adorned with distinctive flecked central markings.

Bred specifically for container cultivation, ‘Inticancha Paraiso’ forms a neat, well-branching, and bushy habit that's ideal for both pots and front border placement. The plant's compact, dark green foliage provides a perfect backdrop for the abundant floral display, which begins in early summer and continues reliably until the first frost.

  • Garden care:
Plant in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position, ideally sheltered from strong winds. If planting into large containers, use a general-purpose potting compost. Water regularly during the growing season, especially in dry spells, but avoid waterlogging.

Newly planted Alstroemerias should be given a very generous 20cm (8") deep mulch of chipped bark in their first winter to help the plants become established. In subsequent autumns, provide a dry mulch of bracken or bark chippings to help protect the crowns.

After flowering, cut back the faded flower-stems, but make sure you always wear gloves when working with Peruvian lilies, as contact with the foliage may cause skin irritation.
