Known for its long-lasting flowers and tidy growth habit, this elegant houseplant features glossy, lance-shaped leaves and slender stems topped with pale purple spathes. These spathes, often mistaken for true flowers, surround a central spadix and can persist for up to 8 weeks.
Anthurium 'Champion Zizou' adds a contemporary touch to indoor spaces and is particularly popular for its soft colouring and compact form. It thrives in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-drained compost, and is visually, a cross between a peace lily and a true flamingo flower. As with other anthuriums, it prefers warmth, humidity, and a spot out of direct sunlight, and is ideal for shelves or tabletops to suit modern interiors.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants, and if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from.

Flamingo flowers prefer bright, indirect light and consistently warm, humid conditions. Water well during spring and summer, allowing the top layer of compost to dry slightly between waterings, and reduce watering in winter.
Mist the leaves regularly to boost humidity, especially in centrally heated rooms, and occasionally rinse the foliage under a lukewarm shower to remove dust. Keep away from cold draughts and ensure temperatures stay above 15°C (59°F) year-round. Use a free-draining houseplant compost, and repot every two years or when roots become congested.
Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
