Embrace the beauty of spring with this remarkable collection of floral treasures featuring a classic combination of blues, whites and yellows to herald the onset of spring. Magnificent white-tipped, yellow flowering tulips are complemented by the enchanting gentian-blue Scilla, while the deep blue of the Muscari brings a sense of depth and richness to the arrangement.

  • 7 x Tulipa tarda: Shiny, lance-shaped green leaves form loose clumps, which in early to mid-spring are crowned with white-tipped yellow flowers, often with a reverse that is flushed with red and green. Happiest in richer soils, its compact habit makes it ideal for pots.

  • 50 x Scilla luciliae: Sprays of tiny, star-shaped gentian-blue flowers in February and March and slender, strap-shaped, mid-green leaves. These versatile and easy-to-grow bulbs are ideal for a sunny, well-drained rock garden or for naturalising under deciduous shrubs and trees. Plant in bold drifts 8cm (3in) deep in September for a spectacular early spring display.

  • 50 x Muscari armeniacum: Charming, cone-shaped spikes of tiny, mid-blue flowers appear in April and May above the grass-like, mid-green leaves. Grape hyacinths look gorgeous peeping out of a large container, planted with yellow, spring-flowering pansies. Quickly forming small colonies, they're also valuable for naturalising at the front of a sunny mixed or shrub border.

  • Garden care: Plant 10cm (4in) deep in naturalistic groups in autumn. During summer when the bulbs are dormant lift and divide groups that are becoming congested.
    • Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
