Baptisia 'Lemon Meringue' is a strong growing compact form with upright smokey grey stems, which are smothered in purplish buds in mid- to late spring.
These open to reveal lemon yellow flowers which rise in columns above the cool blue-green foliage. Happiest in a sunny spot, they will become drought tolerant once established.
