  • 'Namur' is a captivating spiral-leaf Begonia with rich silver satin leaves and a charming pink blush at the centre. As a relatively compact grower, this cultivar features tightly congested, whorled leaves, some of which develop a double spiral as they mature. Completing its elegant appearance, there is a narrow red rim at the margin of the leaves. Pink flowers appear periodically from summer through to autumn.

We’re proud to support our British growers, and having been raised by one of our trusted UK nurseries, this indoor plant has a low carbon footprint, which makes it perfect for an eco-friendly collection or gift.

  • Home care:
Rex begonias require special care during the summer months. It's best to keep them in shaded areas and provide ample watering, ensuring proper drainage and maintaining a humid atmosphere around the plants. Avoid wetting the leaves or the crown.

As winter approaches, reduce the frequency of watering. Allow the compost surface to dry out before watering again. These begonias thrive with a minimum winter temperature of 13°C (55°F) across all varieties.

For optimal growth, feed them every two weeks from May to September using a high nitrogen fertiliser.
