This enchanting annual graces reliably moist and boggy ground with its creeping habit, aromatic leaves and a profusion of bright yellow, button-like flowers throughout the summer. Plant out in reliably moist or boggy soil, or pot up into a pond basket and place at the margins of a pond in shallow water no deeper than 10cm (4in). It will self seed if planted in boggy ground where the seeds can settle and germinate.
