An undemanding houseplant, Dracaena fragrans 'Lemon Lime' adds a citrusy zing with its colourful mixture of green, cream and lime striped foliage. A tree-like stem develops over time carrying the luxuriant leaves with sideshoots that eventually help form a tall, undemanding housplant that does not take up much floorspace. It's a great choice for offices and brightly lit locations where space is at a premium but maximum impact is desired.

Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

  • Home care:
Water well during the active growing season in spring and summer, keeping the compost evenly moist, but reduce watering in winter to avoid soggy roots. Mist the foliage occasionally to raise humidity, especially in centrally heated rooms. Position in bright, indirect light and keep temperatures ideally between 60-75°F (16-24°C), avoiding drops below 50°F (10°C) in winter. Feed every 2-3 weeks with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser during the growing months to support strong foliage.

Repot as required, refreshing the compost to maintain nutrients and vigour.
    • Pets: Harmful if eaten
