With its branches smothered in short tubular, vivid yellow flowers, 'Lynwood Variety' is a medium-sized, spring-flowering deciduous shrub. Grouped together, this award-winning woody perennial is a great choice for a hedging plant. The flowers appear before the bright green leaves, covering the plant in a fine cloth of gold.

Prune/trim in late spring immediately after flowering, buds for the following year develop soon after flowering (check for nesting birds prior to cutting) and mulch with a thick layer of organic matter after this. Trim the hedge for form in late July or August.
