One for the connoisseurs and collectors, this rare and unusual fritillaria is actually one of the most robust varieties. In early spring, it produces small clusters of nodding, bell-shaped flowers, that are topped with a jaunty tuft of leaf-like bracts. They are ideal for pots and containers, or plunged straight into a sunny border with well-drained soil. Perfect if you are looking for something out of the ordinary. - Garden care: Plant 15cm deep (ideally on their sides) from September to November in fertile, well-drained soil.
- Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
