Our specialist growers have told us that the origins of this cultivar is uncertain, but it probably originated from the small Mâcon village that bears its name. It is an indoor grape, but will be quite happy grown outside against a sunny, south-facing wall in a sheltered spot. It is an easy, reliable and high yielding grape.
