This perennial beauty boasts dark-veined blue flowers, standing proudly on slender stems amidst narrow grass-like leaves. Iris sibirica is a rhizomatous herbaceous plant that graces early summer with its delicate violet-blue blooms, veined with purple on a pristine white base. These irises are not just a visual delight but also low-maintenance, quick to establish, and easily divided from autumn to spring. Thriving in any soil and basking in the sun, they particularly excel in heavy clay soils, making them a perfect choice for both novice and seasoned gardeners alike.

  • Garden care:
These plants are potted up (using a suitable aquatic compost) into aquatic pots. These pots are made of a fine mesh, which allows water to circulate through the compost, providing the plants with both oxygen and nutrients. If you are using them as a aquatic plant, they can be placed straight into the pond up to 10cm (4") deep. To enhance flowering divide congested clumps every three to five years.
    • Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten
