Forming a low rosette of fleshy green leaves, which in late spring and early summer, is topped with branching stems that carry pink, apricot or rich gold flowers. Occasionally the blooms may also be bicoloured, or even a blend of colours, which makes them a very pretty addition to the alpine bed or rockery. They will also look great in pots.
Plant in freely draining soil and water moderately when actively growing. Avoid winter wet.
