Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura ‘Lemon Lime’ is a refreshing new twist on the popular prayer plant - pink-ribbed markings are replaced by light green markings although the attractive patterns along their midrib with yellow-green splotches remain.
Once settled and the shoots have lengthened, mature plants often develop a delightful trailing habit. So if you’re looking for a fresh new look, this could be just the tonic!

Originating from tropical regions, they like relatively stable temperatures (ideally above 15°C or 59°F) and a well-lit position that does not get direct sunlight (think steamy jungle!).
They like to be kept well watered, although this can be cut back a little in winter, and they thrive in high humidity, so either grow it in a steamy room, mist it with water regularly, and/or sit the pot on a tray of dampened shingle.
