'Flower Drift' forms charming clumps adorned with slightly grey-green, strap-shaped leaves. Its double flowers, measuring up to 10cm (4in) across, boast broad white outer petals and smaller white petals intricately mixed with short segments of yellow-orange corona in the centre, creating a captivating visual display. Blooming in early to mid-spring, each stem proudly carries a single flower, making this double daffodil an excellent naturaliser in lawns and meadows where it remains deer and rabbit resistant.
Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 10cm (4in) apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
- Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten; skin irritant
