If you are looking for a distinctive, architectural tree then look no further! This unusual evergreen tree has an almost skeletal form, with a slender upright trunk and long pendant, narrow bronze-green, metallic-like leaves which are sharply pointed and indented with tooth-like serrations. Over time on mature trees the leaves become fuller and more rounded.
If your lucky Pseudopanax ferox can also produce green, umbel shaped flower panicles from mid summer. Such a memorable tree which looks good planted singularly or in groups in a modern contemporary garden, or a woodland style scheme.
