In each collection you will receive five rooted cuttings of each of the following:
5 x Calibrachoa 'Cabaret Bright Red': A soft, evergreen perennial with branching stems that are often cultivated as an annual. It produces an abundance of deep red, trumpet-shaped flowers with a yellow throat from late spring to the first frosts. Grows to 25cm. Supplied as rooted cuttings.
5 x Verbena 'Showboat Midnight': A prolific, velvety, deep-purple flowering verbena with wonderfully textured, serrated, mid-green foliage. Once mature, these plants have a mounding, arching habit with large flower heads and are perfect for pots, containers and hanging baskets. Grows to 30cm. Supplied as rooted cuttings.
Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
