‘Bressingham’ is a delightful, evergreen addition to any rock garden, forming a low cushion or carpet of grassy green leaves adorned with striking rose-pink flowers in late spring. Soapworts also work well as edging or in gravel scree or alpine trough gardens, thriving in well-drained yet moisture-retentive soils, where they love to spread their roots among rocks. They look particularly beautiful when grown alongside silver-leaved companions such as Helianthemum and Convolvulus cneorum. Becomes drought resistant once established. - Garden care: Cut back hard after flowering to maintain a compact habit. Lift and divide congested clumps in autumn or spring.
