Verbascum 'Primrose Path' is a compact, semi-evergreen perennial or biennial with a rosette of downy, grey-green leaves. From late spring through summer, it produces abundant spikes of primrose-yellow flowers, each around 3cm (1.5in) across, which are highly attractive to bees and other beneficial insects. This shorter-growing cultivar works well in containers or at the front of borders, offering both visual appeal and pollinator support. Its low-maintenance nature and vibrant blooms make it an excellent choice for sunny garden spots.
It is worth keeping in mind that these plants are mainly biennial, so although they usually self-seed freely, the plant will only live for two years.
