A deliciously fragrant, low growing perennial Viola with large cream-yellow flowers with a lilac fringe produced abundantly and in waves throughout the spring until early autumn. The elegant clumps of oval, dark green leaves spread to create a dense ground cover. Great for spilling over pathways and the front of borders, ‘Etain’ is also at home in rockeries, patio pots, and cottage garden schemes.

  • Garden care: Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost when planting. Protect young plants from slug damage using environmentally friendly slug pellets or beer traps. Deadhead the spent blooms to prolong flowering. Plants can be sheared back in early spring to remove tatty winter foliage.
