A remarkable seasonal annual presenting captivating scabiosa-flowered forms with vibrant citrus blooms highlighted by a contrasting dark eye. This robust plant is a magnet for bees and butterflies, perfect for borders and ideal as a cut flower.
Its big crested pom-pom blooms exhibit bright tangerine shades with hints of deep gold and a delicate cream "halo" encircling the centre, reaching 5cm (2in) in width. These blooms showcase tightly-clustered short petals above a skirt of longer, daisy-like petals, displaying both single flowers and double blooms based on temperature fluctuations.
Zinnia elegans ‘Zinderella Orange’ stands out for its longevity in both garden and vase arrangements, embodying the enduring qualities typical of zinnias.

Grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio.
Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
