Westland ericaceous compost is specially blended for acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias. The high-performance mix contains 6 months’ feed with added iron and zinc complex to promote stronger, healthier, more vigorous plants.

Zinc complex aids production of the plant growth hormone auxin, improving transport of water and nutrients around the plant and boosting both root and shoot growth. Iron and zinc encourage photosynthesis for plant energy production.

How to use:

Potting:

Thoroughly water the plant, gently tap the pot to remove the plant and shake off loose compost. Half fill the pot with new compost, place the plant in the pot and fill gaps with more compost, firm in and water.

Beds & borders:

Dig a hole approximately twice the depth and diameter of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole with new compost, fill gaps with more compost, firm in and water well.

Store in a cool, dry place away from weed killers and other garden chemicals, and reseal bag after use. Always wear gloves when handling and wash hands afterwards.
