Our take on a classic milk churn. This is one for cottage-inspired gardens of any size. Made from sturdy galvanised steel it has a secret tapered pot stashed inside. You slip out the inner pot to plant it up, so it needs relatively little compost and is easy to replant. It helps keep the overall weight down too.

Roots will stay cool on very hot days as they'll be protected by a double wall with a space in between, acting like a Thermos. Both the inner pot and the base of the churn have pre-drilled holes, roughly 1cm in diameter, and the base is raised to ensure it drains well.
