This is a neat, small chip mulch, perfect for small beds and borders, tubs, pots and window boxes. Spread around your plants it will suppress weeds, deter pests, retain moisture in soil, insulate against ground frost and give planted areas a smart finish.

Produced in Britain from sustainably sourced pine bark, graded to 3-18mm. If left undisturbed, the mulch should last for at least two years before needing a top up. Eventually, it will naturally break down to improve the soil’s structure and nutrient content.

How to use:

Beds & borders:

Ensure the area to be mulched is entirely free of weeds, both annual and perennial. Spread the mulch evenly in a 5-10cm layer over freshly cultivated moist soil after planting has been completed. Do not disturb once applied.

Pots and containers:

Spread a layer at least 5cm deep over moist soil or compost. Make sure you leave enough space at the top of the pot to ensure the bark will stay contained.

Store in a cool, dry place away from weed killers and other garden chemicals, and reseal bag after use. Always wear gloves when handling and wash hands afterwards.
