Made from robust galvanised steel, this deep tray housing 24 tapered 6cm square bottomless pods will last you a lifetime of springtime seed sowing. A great way to start moving away from plastic.

Planting up is easy - place the pods in the tray, pour a fine potting compost mixture over the top and smooth it over until the pods are full, patting down to firm. Top up so the soil level rests about 5mm from the top. They’re now ready for receiving your seeds or cuttings.

The tray serves as a reservoir so the pods will soak up moisture evenly. Once your seedlings are planted out, you can repurpose it for small plants - perhaps embrace the trend for succulents and create a grid of different varieties.

Before use, we recommend filling with water and letting it stand on a dry surface for 24 hours, then checking with a wipe of tissue paper to be extra sure it's watertight.
