Stunning, fiery orange flowers with a dramatic central dark eye stud. This vigorous, twining climber is wonderful for adding dense green foliage and colour to quickly cover a trellis against a sunlit fence, ‘Sunny Susy New Orange’ will look equally spectacular growing up an obelisk in a container. Alternatively, grow in a warm conservatory where it will remain a tender, evergreen perennial.
Keep under glass where temperatures dip below 5°C, only moving outside after the frosts have passed. A twining climber, it will need support, and it should be watered freely when in growth with a balanced liquid fertiliser applied monthly.
To avoid dry conditions, and to ensure good soil contact around the rootball, we advise planting climbers at least 30cm (12in), and preferably 45-60cm (18-24in) away from the base of a wall or fence. An even larger distance should be maintained when planting climbers beside an existing tree or shrub.
