Place fern arum in a bright spot with indirect light, avoiding direct sun which can scorch the leaves, or in a well-lit corner away from drafts and radiators. Allow the top of the compost to dry out between waterings and reduce watering over winter.
Mist the leaves occasionally to maintain humidity, and keep indoor temperatures above 15°C (59°F). Repot every few years in spring, using a well-draining potting mix to prevent root rot, and trim any yellowing or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking tidy.
