A vigorous yellow water iris, suitable for planting at the margins of large ponds or lakes. Iris pseudacorus var. bastardii produces clear, sulphur-yellow flowers on branched stems in July and August and ribbed grey-leaves. An elegant and robust water-loving iris that provides excellent wildlife potential.
These plants are potted up (using a suitable aquatic compost) into aquatic pots. These pots are made of a fine mesh, which allows water to circulate through the compost, providing the plants with both oxygen and nutrients.
