The edible, lemon-yellow tipped petals of this charming calendula look amazing scattered on salads - and they’re pretty showy in pots, containers, and borders too! ‘Lemon Twist’ is a compact, mound-forming, hardy annual that will put on a great show in a sun-drenched spot. An ideal addition to the summer bedding scheme, where beneficial insects will hum around its fully double, rich yellow-white flowers from early summer to autumn.
Keep well watered and feed with a high potash fertiliser (such as Tomorite) at regular intervals throughout the growing season. Regular deadheading of the flowers will ensure even more appear until the first frosts.
