This collection of tulips brings a complementary array of colours and forms, sure to provide abundant flowers for cutting and garden enjoyment. The double purple flowers of 'Negrita Double' resemble ruffled gowns, pairing elegantly with soft pinks and lilacs. 'Apricot Foxx' shifts subtly through orange, apricot, and yellow tones for a stunning display. Meanwhile, 'La Belle Epoque' unfurls large, peony-like blooms in a sophisticated pink-apricot ombré. Plant in drifts or pots for a fantastic springtime display.

In each collection you will receive the following bulbs:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Negrita Double': Big, blousy blooms, which are a rich royal purple with bluish undertones, top stout stems, and look sublime when planted with softer lilacs - or most shades of pink. A relative of the ever-popular (single-flowered) 'Negrita' this double form is also a big hit. Grows to 40cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Apricot Foxx': The perfectly formed flowers of this impressive tulip are a soft blend of orange, apricot and yellow, infused with the faintest blush of claret. Because of these tonal variations, which tend to become slightly more intense in warmer conditions, it makes them incredibly easy to mix. Robust and resistant to poor weather conditions, it's great for borders or pots - and as it produces its flowers in the middle of the season, it's ideal for tying in both the early and late display. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • 5 × Tulipa 'La Belle Epoque': Large, many-petalled flowers appear in late spring or early summer. Their unique colouring (pinkish-apricot becoming paler towards the outer edges of the petals), blends well with deeper pinks and shades of purple. Often called peony-flowered tulips, these beautiful blooms also make great cut flowers. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care:
From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
