  • Position: full sun to partial shade
  • Soil: moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, or general-purpose potting compost for containers
  • Rate of growth: fast
  • Flowering period: May to September
  • Hardiness: tender (will need winter protection)

Semi-succulent stems with ovate, gently serrated, magenta-infused, copper-coloured leaves will burn brightly for you in your summer bedding displays. Coleus ‘Campfire’ copes well with heat and is easy to grow. Plant with Salvia greggii 'Cool Pink' for a striking combination of colour, form and textural contrast.

  • Garden care:
Plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out young shoots regularly to maintain foliage colour and a compact shape. Remove emerging flower spikes to maintain bushy habit. If growing in pots, move indoors in autumn to overwinter.
