Cheerful, bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers from June to August above a low carpet of rounded, golden-yellow leaves. This gorgeous, golden creeping Jenny is perfect for softening the edges of hard landscaping.

Extremely fast growing, Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' makes an attractive, all year ground cover plant for moist areas of the garden in sun or partial shade for softening pond edges. Also, commonly seen cascading from hanging baskets as a contrasting foliage filler plant.

  • Garden care:
Plant in reliably moist or boggy soil, or grow them in a pond basket placed at the edge of a pond at a depth of 0-15cm (0-6in). These adaptable plants thrive in damp ground or shallow water, making them ideal for areas where many plants struggle.

They spread to form a dense, weed-suppressing mat of foliage and are excellent for softening pond margins or filling gaps in wet borders. Keep the soil consistently moist and trim the plants regularly to control their spread and maintain a tidy, compact shape.
