Fill your garden with luxurious fragrance from spring to late summer with the Award-Winning Fragrant Climber Collection. This trio of vigorous, highly scented climbers will smother walls, arches, and pergolas with cascades of white and yellow blooms, filling the air with their intoxicating perfume.

From the two-toned honeysuckle, to the classic sweetly-scented jasmine, and the evergreen star jasmine with its summer-long floral display, this collection is perfect for creating a lush, scented retreat in sunny, sheltered gardens.

For care tips, please see the individual plant's webpage for further information.

The collection contains one each of the plants listed below, each in a 9cm pot.

  • Lonicera japonica 'Halliana': Masses of highly scented, pure white, tubular flowers, ageing to yellow, smother this handsome honeysuckle from April to August, giving it a two-tone appearance. Many of the handsome, tapered, glossy, dark green leaves are retained all year, so this vigorous, semi-evergreen cultivar is ideal for covering a pergola, arch or boundary wall, or scrambling through robust shrubs and trees. It is happy in sun or partial shade. Grows to 10m.

  • Jasminum officinale: A popular, sweetly scented climber smothered in clusters of highly fragrant white flowers from June to August and pretty, fine foliage. This versatile, deciduous climber appreciates a sheltered, sunny, well-drained site, and can cope with dry conditions. Since it spreads quickly in all directions, it's ideal for covering a large south or west-facing wall or an unsightly garden building. Grows to 8m.

  • Trachelospermum jasminoides: An attractive woody, evergreen climber with rich, dark green leaves which turn bronze in winter. Clusters of highly fragrant, pure white flowers are produced from mid- to late summer. It is best grown against a warm, sunny wall in milder areas or in a greenhouse or conservatory in areas prone to severe frosts. Grows to 9m.

  • Garden care:
To avoid dry conditions, and to ensure good soil contact around the rootball, we advise planting climbers at least 30cm (12in), and preferably 45-60cm (18-24in) away from the base of a wall or fence. An even larger distance should be maintained when planting climbers beside an existing tree or shrub.
    • Humans/Pets: Fruit are ornamental - not to be eaten
