A well-balanced dawn composition of red and orange calla lilies.Originating from southern Africa where they are found colonising reliablymoist soils or lake margins, these elegant perennials are at their peakin summer when they produce their magnificent flowers.These look beautiful in the border, but are also excellent for cutting andadding to the vase, where they will usually put on a long-lasting display.Tolerant of a little light shade, they will flower best in a sunny spot andthey should be fed and watered freely during the growing season.These sunrise inspired cultivars will need to be moved under glass for thewinter months.


In each collection you will receive 1 bare root plant of eachof the following:

  • Zantedeschia 'Captain Romance' (PBR)(Captain Series):Green flushed at their base, the rich pink spathes of this beautiful arum lilysurround contrasting, golden yellow spadices and will mix easily with mostshades of pink, blue and purple. Originating from southern Africa wherethey are found colonising reliably moist soils or lake margins, these elegantperennials look beautiful in the border, but are also excellent for cuttingand adding to a vase. Grows to 65cm.

  • Zantedeschia 'Sunset Passion':This stunning calla lily cultivar commands attention with its large, red-orangeblooms that deepen in colour as they mature, lasting over many weeks. 'SunsetPassion' features leathery, lance-shaped or arrow-shaped foliage adorned withstriking white freckles. Its compact habit makes it ideal for pots andcontainers on sunny patios, while also serving as a bold focal point insheltered bog gardens or pond margins. Equally at home in traditional orcontemporary settings, it also thrives in reliably moist borders. Grows to60cm.

  • Zantedeschia 'Red Alert': A compact, tuberous perennial calla lily forming clumps of glossy, green leavesspotted and flecked with white. In summer, rich, dark purple-black flowers areheld on upright stems above the foliage. Grows to 60cm.


  • Garden care:
    Plant the tubers 7-10cm (3-4in) deep and 30cm (12in) apart into reliably moist,rich soil or good-quality potting compost. Water sparingly until new shootsstart to emerge and then start to water more regularly. Best grown as atender, summer interest plant, this calla lily can be protected from cold in asheltered, frost-free spot during the winter.
