Sweetly scented, lavender blooms that make super cut flowers appear throughout the summer on this gorgeous sweet pea. A favourite for the cottage garden, they will also thrive in pots, where they will quickly scramble up an obelisk or tepee of bamboo canes. Bees and other beneficial insects will flock to them in the garden and their heady perfume will keep them coming back for more.

Pots are supplied with 5-7 seedlings.

  • Garden care:
Before planting out, incorporate lots of well-rotted organic matter in the planting hole. Apply a balanced liquid plant food every two weeks while in growth and deadhead regulary to encourage more flowers.

  • Sowing instructions:
From October to late March, sow seeds into pots filled with good-quality seed compost and grow them on in a cold frame. Then, after the worst frosts have passed, the seedlings can either be planted out or potted up for the patio. Alternatively, direct sowings can be made in October or from March to April.

  • Sow: January to May or September to October
    • Humans/Pets: Pods and seeds are not edible
