This tall and elegant tulip will add poise to the planting scheme. It's a single late tulip, so has large flowers on sturdy stems that rise above the grey-green foliage in May. Their flower colour is palest yellow (almost white with a buttery blush), so they are good for mixing with stronger yellows, or for contrast, rich purples and plums. My advice would be to plant more than you need as they are also excellent for cutting. - Garden care: From September to December, plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq. After flowering deadhead and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month. Once the foliage has died down naturally lift the bulbs and store in a cool greenhouse.
