A stunning zinnia series developed for professional cut flower growers, boasting vibrant, mostly double blooms, each reaching 7cm (3in) in size. These robust plants grow 75 to 90cm (30 to 36in) tall, offering sturdy stems ideal for cutting, with excellent branching for multiple bouquets. Thriving in hot, dry conditions, they're beginner-friendly and bloom earlier, maturing in just 75 days. ‘Macarenia’ is revered for its Mexican-inspired boldness, features fiery scarlet petals kissed by gold, a visual delight complemented perfectly when paired with rich-hued purple foliage plants like Ricinus or Coleus, creating a classy and vibrant border display.

  • Garden care:
Grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
